The worst one I've had was Captain Lawrence Golden Delicious. And it wasn't terrible, it just wasn't as good as the others I've had. I thought it was a bit hot, but I kind of want to buy another bottle and toss it down in the cellar for a couple of years and see if it mellows. I think if it mellows with age it will be really good.

I guess I've been lucky so far, but I avoided the Kentucky Bourbon Ale after checking the reviews here.

Couldn't agree more. Anyone mentioning something as mild as Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale clearly hasn't experienced the Kriek. Big Sky should be charged with a crime for continuing to brew that monstrosity.

Im saying man. Their Bourbon Barrel stout had no Bourbon taste in it whatsoever. It was all coffee and all mediocrity.

I liked this beer a fair amount. What did you find wrong with it that it's the worst barrel aged beer?

The one I just had. Old Dominion Oak Barrel Stout. Way too watery, no barrel and no stout.

You misunderstood, I have no issue with your opinion, I'm actually glad you don't like sours as that is one less person I have to contend with to get them. All I am saying is if I don't happen to like something I say I don't like them, but I don't say they are trash. It would be like someone not liking cheeseburgers and then saying cheeseburgers are garbage. Just kind of shitty wording.

I actually enjoyed this for what it was. Sure it wasn't the greatest, but it can't be judged againg BA Imperial stouts.....

Bourbon County brand stout. Hot, sweet, overly alcoholic. Good for those with juvenile palates I suppose.

I came to join the blanket party that we're having with the Kentucky BB Ale. I kinda figured it wouldn't be very good. None of my craft beer regulars were clamoring for it before we started carrying it, just BMC drinkers that would indulge in Blue Moon or Leinenkugel on weekends. So when I finally got a free one to sample I went in expecting mediocrity. Mediocrity would have been sooooooo much more welcome.

Did anyone else get massive amounts of Country Crock flavor in their first few sips? It was as if there was a big fat dollop of faux-butter in the glass. I almost drain poured it at that point, but then the margarine flavor dropped out. Unfortunately after that it just tasted like someone had watered down some Ten High with soda water.

So crappy, and yet we still sell plenty of it. People are more than happy to drop $15 on a 4 pk. It boggles the mind.

Ugh. I suppose I'd rather have a juvenile palate than be this far up my own ass.

Kentucky BB Ale is bad but my choice is South Shore BB Coffee Mint Stout. I Like a lot of their beers, this is not one of them. No thank you on the coffee and mint combo as well.

FT: South Shore BB CM stout ISO: Kentucky BB Ale

I'd have to say JW Lee's Lagavulun barrel, truly horrendous in every regard, and completely undrinkable, to do this to one of the worlds best whiskey's should be illegal.

Fair enough. The Yankees and Mariano Rivera are garbage. And I hear their stadium serves macro under the guise of craft too. :stuck_out_tongue:
