"The Brown Note" has to be the most unappetizing name hands down.

And their old are too. I like their beer but their design department needs an overhaul

They're not ugly. Simple and practical. Spells out exactly what you're buying. Instead of spending 10 minutes trying to figure what style of beer it is because of all the ADD/ADHD labels.

I use to hate Ballast Point's Fish labels, but then I tried Dorado, Sculpin and Victory at Sea and got over it.

Weyerbacher's labels are up there. The revamped ones aren't much better.

Clown Shoes has some straight up horrendous labels, but it's hilarious because they are so well drawn. Like, tons of details put into straight up eight grade comic book style labels, but their beer rules so I let it go.

Another vote for Flying Dog. Have never bought any of their beers BECAUSE of the art work. Doesn't appeal to me, and like another poster has mentioned, it's too scatterbrained. Stresses me out.

Horny Goat. Their poor beer is a reflection of their equally poor art and marketing.

Shake is actually amazing, especially if you can find it on nitro.

I've always thought the Victory labels were pretty lame. They're just really childish.

    EDIT: Oh yeah, almost forgot:

    Mmm....extra skeevy!

In all honesty, nothing sounds appealing about that place. At all. Ugh. And I'm usually the last person to let image impact my decisions, but I guess I just found out where my line is.

Im not crazy about the Ballast Point Labels but the Victory at Sea label kicks ass. 100% agree on Weyerbacher.

It's essentially the Cave Creek Chili or Dixie White Moose of beer art and sophomoric names. It just has to be mentioned.

Yeah, I've seen that one, too. But still, hard to beat beer names like:

    Me So Honey
    Beavers Milk
    Rabid Beaver Bite
Dammed! (okay, that one's a little clever)
    Blushing Beaver
    Easy Beaver

    or the winner (loser?)

    Ol’ Dirty

I liked the old Ballast Point labels better, but, oh well...
    Same with Green Flash.

The name is bad enough, but have you seen the label? Seriously, how the hell did this get label approval?

Smuttynose Homunculus takes the prize. Don't want to think about sperm when I'm drinking....that might just be me though

Wachusett's "Larry" is a great great great brew with artwork that makes it look cheap and not a lot going on.

It's not just you. Not a bad beer though. I find most Smuttynose labels to be bad. They look to be mostly trying to either recreate the magic of the Finest Kind label or they are short on time and say "Fuck it, just print it". Homunculus takes the grand prize though.
