Not exactly a pro tip, more like a bad example; Remember the series of Corona commercials where the scantily clad college students are playing beach-volleyball on a sunny day, while off to the side cold Coronas sit waiting for them in a tub of ice, skunked. Yeah, don't do that. For gods sake, get canned Corona at least. Or a cooler.

I wonder what sales of Corona in cans vs bottles are like. I betcha the bottles haven't suffered because that is "authentic" Corona.

I prefer to drink beers that are between "cellar" and room temp... but I also enjoy beers very cold. Both are good, but I like one better. I personally wouldn't like a "frosted" glass because I don't want my glass to be cold to the touch (rather than it being a beer thing). My wife likes her beer very cold and it drives her crazy that she can't enjoy a sip of my beer. Is that a win-win for me? (It makes me feel guilty to be honest.) It also drives her crazy that I like to let my tea cool down a lot before I drink it (@Crusader ). Just let me enjoy my beverage my way please.
I tend to order two beers at once... not because of drink temp, but because I don't want to wait for service when I empty the first glass. I get funny looks.

No way. Unless I'm at a party or get-together I'm drinking out of a glass.

    That's MY snobbery.

John Kimmich can fuck off. Heady goes into a glass.

    I most certainly will! :beers:

And please let us beer drinkers who enjoy drinking our beers cold the same.

    Cheers!

Jack, that was aimed at my wife… and I know you are not her because she never responds when I call her Jack.

Meh. It used to be a ritual for me to let a beer get to 45 degrees and use the proper glass and blah blah blah. I find it more enjoyable to just sit down, grab a beer from the fridge and relax. I have to overthink everything I do at work, why do that with my hobbies?

Worst pro tip for beer trading is: put noisemakers in your boxes. Really don't love dealing with boxes with popcorn kernels, or other nonsense all over the box for the sake of rattling.

I like pouring my beer in glassware for the same reason I wouldn't eat a steak blindfolded - look is a part of the experience.

I don’t know. When it comes to macro beers, or cheap Euro lagers, the colder the better.

Does anybody prefer a non-cold certified Coors Light to a cold certified Coors Light? Not my favourite beer styles by any means, but an ice cold macro lager is infinitely more enjoyable than one that has been out of the fridge for 15 minutes.

    I agree 100% here.

AALs and Pale Lagers are best enjoyed at refrigerator temperature (or even colder at times).

    Cheers!

Well, kinda depended on who the "pro" giving the tip worked for.

A lot of my beer is consumed at "(attached unheated) garage floor temp" fall-winter-spring and the beer fridge is usually kept at 45-50 unless I need to share it with the food (say, around Thanksgiving).

As for ice cold AAL's, pilsners, etc., I usually follow the advice of Brewmaster Siebold.

55° is kinda high - and eventually Peter Hand ran the same campaign with the temp down to around a chilly 50° - which was a bit higher than the common recommended temperature by most US brewers of 40°-45° --- until Coors went with COLD theme in the, I don't know, 1980s? 1990s?

And, I've always thought that the noisemakers would attract attention.
