    A numbers guy eh!

To make it worth your while, hop over to Yellowknife NWT while you are up there to make it worth your while. They have a brewery too.

And while you're at it, make sure to drop over to Yellowknife for a stop at Yukon Brewing.

Man, what a day trip this is turning into, eh?

I go to the Northwest Angle for fishing every summer, and have to cross through Canada to get back to that part of Minnesota. You're allowed up to 8.5 L of beer, per person, which does come to around a standard 24 pack/12 oz cans. You can do your 8.5 L any way you want, and I do.

Caribbean isn't the best, although I am sure there are worse places, which is precisely why I bring my own when I travel. Especially on vacation when I want something decent.

It is convenient that America's worst overall states tend to also be the worst states for beer. Perhaps the exception is Hawaii. I have not been but it seems like a lovely place with a lacking beer scene.

Utah is a fabulous state. Great scenery. Great outdoors from mountains to desert.

You'll need to plan for some extra time in Whitehorse. It is a craft beer Mecca with 2 craft breweries, the aforementioned Yukon Brewing Company and the newer Winterlong Brewing Co.

If you can't justify a trip to take in four breweries 'in close proximity to one another,' you probably don't really like beer that much...

In all seriousness, Yukon Brewing makes pretty good beer, and you don't have to go up to the arctic to get bottles of it.

In my book, having to go to the Arctic to get it would be an immense part of its charm. It's kind of like having to drive halfway across the country for Coors back in the day. But way better. On so many levels.

A serious question, how close to the US/Canada boarder do they distro? I'll be crossing over into Manatoba at Warroad and going through the RM of Piney in a few weeks, is there any chance that they have it at the grocery store there?

They only distribute to BC and Alberta (and Northwest Terretories) I’ve only ever gotten bottles in trade out here in Ontario. They have a link to the Alberta distribution regions on their website. Good luck!

    So...what is your point?
After 48 hours.....minimum...2 dozen beer is allowed. Like I said.

Acquiring and drinking beer in Canada is terrible.
If posting on a topic is an "obsession", then fine.

Any country that is dry, this is a dumb question, with the exception of that...Mississippi. For the record, having one good or even one great Brewery does not mean you have a good beer scene. I'm from Alabama, we've come a long way, and there is good beer made here, but there are very few beers in the state that deserve to earn any kind of classic status, I'm not saying that won't come, and I'm not saying I'm not proud of what we have, what I am saying is that there are a lot of places that are doing far better, places that we are not even in the same league as. To be honest, I always buy independent, but unless I'm going to the brewery, I rarely buy local beer in Alabama. Doesn't mean the beer isn't good, it means that there is not a pale ale in year round distro from AL that is better than SNPA, it means that Avondale's Spring Street Saison is not up to par with DuPont, or Prairie Standard, or Stillwater Extra Dry, etc. The only beers that I would have over their more well known counterparts are Bearded Lady (Good People Pale Wheat) and Coffee Oatmeal Stout (also Good People).
