This is true. If I was on death row and needed to choose a last beer it would be this, then I be cool with the lethal injection.

You go sit in the corner and think about what you just did. I am truly baffled.

Isn't that beer considered a pioneer of the style and a benchmark by which it's judged?

Yes it is. There is very little to find wrong with it IMO, but everyone's entitled to their opinion.

agreed, I don't really care for the style much, but a pint of it on a hot summer night outside is not a bad thing at all, especially paired with a nice burger or something.

Perhaps it's because people only see their own interpretation of IPA.In the UK IPA has for a long time used to describe a session strength not particularly hoppy beer, the style has evolved over a couple of hundred years and the massively hopped version is only one interpretation of it.

Leine's Fireside Nut Brown. Sweet mamacita, that stuff is absolute garbage.

There is a difference between an English Style IPA and the pale yellow stuff Labatts makes and calls an IPA. No exaggeration, if you sat down with unmarked pints of Keiths and an adjunct lager, you wouldn't know which is which without being told.

Your point is correct, but just not in the context of this beer. This really is terrible stuff.

Without a doubt, Sam Adams Octoberfest. That might be the worst craft brew I ever tasted. Glad to see others mention it.

Fair enough, Keiths doesn't reach these parts. Here, IPA, Pale Ale and bitter have long been used indiscriminately to describe the same beer and any American who gets his hands on (for example) Greene King IPA won't understand that this interpretation is a century old and a valid one.

Sam Adams Cranberry Lambic. The beer that isn't even remotely close to what the label says it is.

Since this is all just based on a individual's palette for me it was:

DFH Palo Santo Marron (just tasted way too much like I was chewing on a piece of wood)
Founders Double Trouble (just way too much grapefruit which I am not a fan of)
Bell's Batch 10000 (too much black licorice flavor which makes my skin crawl)

Yeah I know all of these are highly respected beers but they just didn't work for me at all and this topic is only based on individual opinions.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned these (yes, I have actually tried all these)

Witbier - Shock Top Belgian White
Dubbel - Blue Moon Winter Abbey Ale
Pumpkin Ale - Blue Moon Harvest Moon Pumpkin Ale
American Pale Wheat Ale - Blue Moon Spring Blonde Wheat Ale (This one beat out Shot Top Wheat IPA as worst for me)
Belgian Pale Ale - Blue Moon Pale Moon
