Winner without a doubt is rum aged Innis and Gunn, gagged down a case (I don't do drain pours).

From Denmark actually. Doesn't make it taste any better though lol. I'll pick one up every now and then if I'm low on cash yet still want a decent buzz.

I think many of us bought it for the bottle art. That damn octopus got me good.

Leinienkugel's Lemon Berry Shandy. Tastes like cough medicine and piss. Just about all the Leinies shandys are terrible but this one takes the cake for most vile.

Lol, if Pbr or Rolling Rock is the worst beer you've ever had your lucky, there's some really shitty beers out there. But these aren't it. Beer with Clam juice, Eds Cave crap, Steel Reserve etc, there's worse than middling bmc brews. Far worse.

True story: bought a six pack expecting a legendarily awful beer to write a funny review of, so I would still be cheerful even if it sucked. Ended up drainpouring the first bottle halfway through---so far, what I expected---but the foul aftertaste lingered so wrong it ruined the next three Pranqsters I had.

So in the end I wasn't disgusted but happy, I was drunk and pissed. :grinning:

I just tried Redbeard XMas beer which is basically a peppermint stout and pretty much undrinkable. My friend ordered it and the waitress had seen enough people just leave their unfinished glasses on the table that she kindly took the charge off the bill.

Anchor Big Leaf Maple Autumn Red was terrible. I don't see it in other BA's reviews, but I found it oddly minty. Almost like there was some mouthwash in the beer. I couldn't finish it. Might be a bad batch but it was the only time I tried it.

Old Rasputin. I'm older and a smidge wiser now than what I was when I tried it. but I still have nightmares in my mouth.

I remember having something in college called "Classic Ice"...$9.99 for a 30 rack. Must not have been too bad since that was the go to.

Boatswain is definitely down there, Mad Fox's Wee Heavy & a local IPA from Crystal Ball Brewing that tasted like Gerber peas...

My guess would be tap lines. I've gotten that a few times when I'd had the perfectly fine product before and knew pretty well that it wasn't the actual beer.

This is actually the line a buddy of mine used years back to try and convince me to drink OE.

I cannot fault you for maintaining the proper mindset in approaching a Starr Hill beer in general....
