CT really?!! Our distro is horrible but I have heard you guys get screwed in Rhode Island. Mass is way better than CT. We get the short end of a lot but it has gotten a bit better.

Dude just was checking seekabrew with my buddy and Mississippi was probably the worst state we saw on there!

You might be overstating this a bit. Vendome, Valley Beverage and Harvest Market all have huge selections and seem to get everything that Sunset Beer Co. over the hill gets.

We did get shafted on Sucks this year however.

You are not kidding!!!! If anyone feels so terrible for me I'm always open for beer to be sent to me! lol

It makes me sad. Yazoo is the only decent beer we get.

I thought Yuengling was starting to make a big push for the north-northeast, infiltrating BBCs sacred turf.

    And BCBS.

    And The Abyss.

I'm sure I could list lots more examples if I put some thought into it.

And regarding Harvest Market: first I've heard that this place was anything for beer. Thanks for the tip! When you see the stuff they have on the sign out front, you'd be hard-pressed to guess that they have anything worthwhile in there.

Legend has it that the founder of Bells' daughter went to college in AZ so he wanted to make sure she could get his beer there.
    Pensacola, Florida gets NB. Fact.

It doesn't look it from the outside, but they've built up a fairly extensive selection. It was the only place I was able to get a hold of Trooper (Iron Maiden).

Please feel free to contact the New Belgium Brewing Co. with your complaints concerning the inaccuracy of their distribution map (see faq entitled "Where Can I find Your Beers") -

    New Belgium Brewing Company
    500 Linden
    Fort Collins, Colorado 80524 USA
    Toll Free - 1-888-NBB-4044

(It worked fine for this NJ resident's comment to a Rhode Island guy and I stand by my comment that "The entire Northeast doesn't get New Belgium beers." :grinning:)

We now get Green Flash and I thought I'd never see the day. 'course, it's a trade-off. We have Prairie Artisan Ales at our back doorstep, and y'all don't. Good beer abounds. Everywhere.

I'll second that...with a whopping 2 million people in the whole state, we barely show up on any breweries radar. We just aren't drinking enough!

Living in South Florida, I can't agree that it's at all a bad distribution region. It was so-so a couple years ago. As of this past year though, I'd say distribution is pretty great here. We now get Founders (and plenty of it) and Goose Island, as well as numerous other breweries that started shipping down here. Also, this past year saw the opening of the Funky Buddha brewery and distribution of kegs to numerous bars in the area. So yeah, SoFla is good now.

West virginia definitely in my book. Ive lived in Pa, Md and now in WV and wv by far is the worst. I can drive from Morgantown to a small town in PA which has less than like 1200 residents and get Stone, bells, founders, lagunitas, just to name a few. Or I can stay in wv and drink limited offerings from sam adams, sierra nevada, leinenkugel and all the other macro micro brews. This place blows for beer. Good place to live tho

I have no idea but it would make sense since people here really seem to want it regardless if its not really that great. Its a PA beer so it should be all over the Northeast no ?
