Hey Denver BAs, I am coming back for a visit to Denver after moving away to the Chicago area in the beginning of December. While I'm visiting, I'm looking to get a few of the CO distro beers that I missed out on...but the problem is I don't really know a whole lot on what I missed out on (that's worth seeking out). I do know about Optunia, Rufus, Bligh's, but that's about it. So I'm looking for suggestions on things to look out for (or to even seek out in trades). Any suggestions would be appreciated. Liquid Brain and CBC, too. CBC is potentially still around at Grapevine (they snuck that one out) and Liquid Brain probably isn't too tough of a trade to make around town.
CBC is the easy answer then. It's (making up random comparative number for different styles) 90% as good as Liquid Brain and nobody seems to know about it.
Agreed, it's a really, really good beer. Need to remember to pick up a few more bottles. The price is right, as well.
I just drank one this past weekend. I liked it a bit more fresh. Not that it's old or anything. I'm just saying, so far, even the little bit of aging isn't doing it any favors. Get it ... but get it quick and drink it.
