Would you drink Hopslam, right now?

i thought fresh hopslam tased like an ipa with a shot of vodka in it this year...gave me a stomach ache. At DLD someone gave me a pour of a one year old hopslam and it was MUCH better. It was sweet and the alcholic burn had faded, but, its not really an ipa at that point.

 

The better question is "When would I NOT drink Hopslam"? The answer is NEVER.

 

I had one earlier this week. I still enjoy Hopslam this "late" in the year.

From reading about it around the time of this year's release, I purposely put two six-packs away just for my own experiment on this. I will try it with a year on it, if it's good, I'll share one of the sixers then. Give the other six pack two years - if it's still drinkable, cheers and drink three bottles. Can I hold on to the last three bottles for a third-year mark? Let me show you this will power, brother.

Hopslam is always still really tasty with age.. but it's obviously still not the same beer..
