I've had it, it's really pretty good. Actually except for the oyster stouts those beers all sound vomit inducing.

No I am fully aware of what a rocky mountain oyster is... or other obscure food items, such as things like casu marzu.

I had the #4 (Spirulina Wit from Freetail) a few months ago. It was interesting, and not in an unpleasant way. The mouthfeel was the same as what you would expect from a wit. The taste was vegetal and slightly bitter...if one is a fan of dark greens like kale and spinach, it would certainly be up their alley. I don't quite remember the nose on that guy, and the appearance was a sort of chalky green color. That being said, I could definitely make it through a six-pack.

I've had Kelpie more than once. Far from being a bad beer. I don't go out of my way to buy it, but on the occasions that it's been offered, I've been happy to accept.

    1. Avocado Ale - Angel City Brewing - Sounds gross.
    2. Oyster Stout - 21st Amendment - Had it, it was weird, but not the worst I've ever had.
    3. Coconut Curry Hefe - New Belgium - Had it. It would be better split with someone instead of having it by yourself, the curry spices can be a bit overwhelming.
    4. Spirulina wit beer - Free tail brewing - (its an algae beer) - Would try, sounds kinda good.
    5. Kelpie Seaweed Ale - Williams Bros Brew - Would also consider trying this.
    6. Rocky Mountain Oyster Stout - Wynkoop Brewing - Rocky Mountain "Oyster"? Fuck that. No thanks.
    7. Bacon Maple - Rogue - From what I hear? No thanks.
    8. Pizza Beer - Mamma Mia! - Ugh, this makes me nauseous to think about. Sounds like it would be like blending a pizza and carbonating it.

I will be hard pressed to try all the beers that sound good in my lifetime.
None of these even sound remotely appetizing.

    1. Avocado Ale - Angel City Brewing - I wouldn't buy it, but I'd certainly drink it if offered one.
    2. Oyster Stout - 21st Amendment - The idea of oyster stouts intrigues me enough that I'll say yes to this one.
    3. Coconut Curry Hefe - New Belgium - Absolutely.
    4. Spirulina wit beer - Free tail brewing - (its an algae beer) - Sure, why not? Gruit beers (I'm assuming that's what this is) are cool, and they tend to be fairly unique. Worth a try, at least.
    5. Kelpie Seaweed Ale - Williams Bros Brew - See above.
    6. Rocky Mountain Oyster Stout - Wynkoop Brewing - Nnnnnnnope. Nope nope nope. Nope.
    7. Bacon Maple - Rogue - Had it. Was better than the Peanut Butter Banana fiasco, but that's all the credit I'll give it.
    8. Pizza Beer - Mamma Mia! - Nope.

    1. Avocado Ale - Angel City Brewing - Not a big fan of avocado, so probably not
    2. Oyster Stout - 21st Amendment -Haven't tried this YET, but I have had Murky Pearl fro Pelican Brewing, and it was AWESOME!

    4. Spirulina wit beer - Free tail brewing - (its an algae beer) -Nope, not going there.
    5. Kelpie Seaweed Ale - Williams Bros Brew - Probably, if I ever saw it.
    6. Rocky Mountain Oyster Stout - Wynkoop Brewing - I've had Capt. Beefheart (a FULL pint, I might add) from Upright/Burnside, made with beef hearts, so...... MAYBE.
    7. Bacon Maple - Rogue - Too "gimmicky" to me, so PROBABLY not.
    8. Pizza Beer - Mamma Mia-Sure, just hold the anchovies.

Have always wanted to try the pizza beer...would be willing to try the rest aside from the oyster stouts (I'm allergic to shellfish).

There are a few breweries I won't purchase their products, but if given the chance to try it for free I would; Rogue is one of those breweries.
