    I've had 4 of the 8.

And have you actually had Freetail's Spirulina Wit? It's actually quite good. They add the algae to make it green for St. Patrick's Day (which is when it is released). It's just barely noticeable in the aroma and taste IMHO. It was just weird seeing that on the list since not may people on here talk about Freetail.

Rocky Mountain Oyster Stout was a better than average stout... I bought a 2-pack back with me to Texas from Colorado... gave one to my buds over at The Beerists podcast to review (with the CORRECT assumption that I would ruin an entire internet podcast for 1 hour with testicle jokes) and took the other to my tasting group. We all agreed that it was a well-made stout that needed more balls. Perhaps a teabag of balls in the brew kettle or perhaps, being an older can, it had some ball fade.

Rogue Bacon Maple Porter - tastes like an ashtray.

Mama Mia! It's Pizza Beer! - Someone keeps bringing these to tastings and leaving them at random tables down here... it tastes like pizza and bud light mixed together... dry hopped with oregano. Ha. Wouldn't seek it out.

Coconut Hefe I need to try this week or next... a friend described it to me as a Hefe spin on Ballast Point Indra Kunindra (Stout w/ curry spices), which I love.

Oyster stouts I'd definitely try. Seen that Rogue beer in local bottleshop looks dreadful.

RBers would chug the lot of them no sweat, hell they'd probably drink dog turd beer if available even if it made them blind "tickers gotta tick" n all that daft mentality.

    1. Avocado Ale - Angel City Brewing - I'd try it.
    2. Oyster Stout - 21st Amendment - I've had other Oyster Stouts, and enjoyed them.
    3. Coconut Curry Hefe - New Belgium - Sure, I'd at least try it.
    4. Spirulina wit beer - Free tail brewing - (its an algae beer) - Doesn't sound great, but I'd try it.
    5. Kelpie Seaweed Ale - Williams Bros Brew - I've had, and didn't find it memorable.
    6. Rocky Mountain Oyster Stout - Wynkoop Brewing - I wouldn't seek it out, but I'd try it, once.
    7. Bacon Maple - Rogue - Had it. Hot mess.
    8. Pizza Beer - Mamma Mia! - Never had it, but I would try it.

Oyster Stouts have been around for a long time. Some use the whole oyster, some the shell, and some don't actually use any oysters at all. (just a weirdly specific marketing/pairing suggestion)

Ill add one more that Boston Brewing brought to the GABF years ago:
**** Ale (old recipe that included a whole chicken) : I wouldn't do it then, and I will not do it now.

How about Chicha from DFH? Who wants some spit beer?

After watching the brewmasters episode about this beer I would love to try it and would hate to brew it. Chewing that much dry corn sounds terrible.

To be honest I will try anything once, also I love people pushing the envelope and making more than your avg beer. That being said there is a line between a good idea and what were you thinking, the only one I couldn't do is Rocky Mountain. I've had an Oyster stout and to be honest it was amazing, actually wasn't too heavy, had a creaminess to it was weird as the cap twisted off like a sardine can.
