That first one is brutal too!

I figured if we were doing "would you rather," may as well turn it up a notch with an extra degree of difficulty. Cheers!

I would LOVE to take the Bigfoot Challenge. B is neither here nor there. C sounds vomit-inducing.

I did it a couple of times in college. It seems like a great idea until you get to Bigfoot #4...once you finish #6, you know it's going to be a rough go. I secretly think this is why SN went to 4 packs (not to keep costs from rising as they claim).

I knew some guys that would do the BF challenge quite frequently. They eventually upped the degree of difficulty by taking a shot after #6. No thanks.

Try a Bigfoot Challenge and then attempt to put together some IKEA furniture...you'll be useless.

IKEA furniture may as well be a rocket ship after three Bigfoots. After six, it's stare at the TV and reevaluate life.

Would definitely have to go for B (...it was two cans from the discount bin, just because I'd never had a "light" beer before and wanted to know how bad it actually was) or C (not the biggest pumpkin-beer fan, but I have had one I really liked, so chances are there's other good ones out there too.)

Six 9% ABV beers in a row, though? Sorry, but alcohol poisoning is not for me.

I literally laughed with my mouth when I read this.

I don't mind drinking Bud Light if it's the only thing on hand and/or free...but I refuse use my money to by it. Its not an In Bev thing. It's some visceral conviction I have.

My in-laws expect Bud Light if they ask me to bring beer. I will buy anything else before Bud Light. Always.

And then add a pumpkin beer tasting extravaganza into the fold...ugh...literally makes me shiver.

    To summarize the choices...

    A) swallow a bunch of beer at once, then physically feel like crap
    B) swallow my pride, face beer shame, and die a little on the inside
    C) choke down a bevy of pumpkin beers which is a torture equivalent of A and B together.

To stick to the original question, I rarely go after limited releases, so staying at home with a few SN Torpedoes would be my preference. Dont have to worry about driving/designated driver, and, well, pants are optional.

What's the cost on the 10oz pour? Because that is the deal breaker for me. Anything over $12-$13 for a rare/whale 10oz pour and I'm staying home 100% of the time.

    A) I would do this if it was a 6yr vertical, and I could split it with one other person.
    B) Fuck Bud Light, I have no problem admitting that I bought a regular Budweiser or Coors Banquet.
    C) I did this last year with a couple friends and had Mother's Squashed, UCBC Count Orlok, & Schlafly Pumpkin Ale. All good beers by the way.

Exactly! Neither do I. But going to the store for the sole purpose of buying Bud Light because I want to buy it...with my own cash (not the...hey here is $20, while you're out pick up a 30 pack of Bud Light)...it makes me cringe.

Haha... "have to enjoy it alone", you make that sound like a bad thing. More like have to enjoy it while watching a good movie, chilling in the hot tub, and not dealing with any combination of long lines, obnoxious people, and let downs when they run out anyway...

Aw!:flushed: It should be! What would you rather, Rather? I'd rather it be about rather, rather than getting him in a lather!

Would you rather drink two 12 oz. bottles of Ghost Scorpion Lager, knowing there was a free Westy 12 waiting for you as a reward, or drink a Cran-brrr-rita 25 oz can out of a contractor's boot at the end of a hot workday? Reward: 1 bottle of Cantillon Fou' Foune.

Depends on if the rare beer is a style I like and/or if it's something unique.
If it's say...Zwanze day, that's a pretty easy decision, even if the bottle shares didn't happen.
If it's just another random BA imperial stout, I'll stay home.

Does the Cran-Brrr-Rita remain in the CAN, just inserted inside said boot, or is it being deCANted? If the former, sign me up! If the latter, I'd rather the Ghost Scorpion Lager.

    De-can-ted into a contractor's boot.
