You're at Wrigley field. Drink Old Style or Bud and find craft beer at the bars afterwards.

That's good to know...I never make it to the club level, so I guess that's why I haven't seen those.

:astonished: It never was - Heileman Old Style was brewed at their home brewery in La Crosse, WI from 1902 (when that name was adopted for what was previously called "Old Times Lager") up until 1999 when Stroh closed and sold the brand to Pabst and the brewery to an independent group.

Well, then, it's getting closer to Chicago...:grinning:

Old Style only became the #1 beer in Chicago during the mid-1970s, Heileman taking advantage of a strike at Anheuser-Busch and the various troubles at Schlitz which led to their eventual collapse. Probably didn't hurt that OS generally sold for less than Bud and Schlitz.

It's just Bud for me at a Cubs game. there's a time and place for everything, and a day in the sun at Wrigley just isn't the time for craft beer. Depending on the start time, I'll usually get lunch somewhere and have a couple good beers before it's Budweiser for the rest of the day.

Or pre-game at Murphy's and skip drinking at the game. Or go see the I-Cubs in Des Moines. I think I've only seen that quality of beer at maybe one MLB stadium before (San Diego)
