That's a solid plan if you are looking to knock two items off your bucket list and check "cheat death" off too by surviving a Sox game. ZING!

If you are going to game their for the first time drink old style. There is NOTHING. and I mean NOTHING more delicious than an Old Style in the bleachers on a 80 degree Chicago Summer day with blue skies and and wind blowing out.

Near the stadium Merkles usually had some solid craft options on tap. They have had a least one BCS on draft the last few times ive been there.

Merkles always has more craft than Murphy's although I do love that Burning River can made just for them.

Second vote for Lucky Dorr. They usually have on a few collabs that are specific to the park. Plus it’s a great spot for people watching before the game. Also because AB does beer in the stadium, it’s becoming increasingly hard to find an old style vendor. But as this is a bucket list trip, you absolutely cannot leave that stadium without having at least one. Good luck! Go cubs! I can’t wait for baseball to start

Old Style Locations as of last year.

Directly to your right when you enter under the main marquee.

    Or in the bleachers.

Worst case scenario slam a handful after a cubbies win at Murphy's. Holy hell I cannot wait for summer baseball.

Wasn't there some controversial Lagunitas takeover last year? It's not exactly craft but I'd rather drink almost any of their beers over Goose 312/IPA

Lagunitas were fully bought out by Heineken back last summer, which already had 50% ownership as it was. Is that what you are referencing?

I think it’s something different. IIRC, there was a Tribune article about Lagunitas managing to get a handful of taps in the stadium. Not sure if it was controversial, but surprising that they were able to wrestle some away from InBev.

ill give you better beer and better food. Significantly worse baseball, and absolutely NOTHING to do around the stadium after the game.

Guys, guys, I am excited for baseball to start too. But, let's keep our quaint and mostly media manufactured rivalry out of the OPs thread on his trip to Wrigley. Please?

Go to dovetail and drink some of the best pregame german beers you’ll ever have. It’s like 15-20 minute walk from wrigley
