    The crazy thing is, I really love spicy food. The only year of Mexican Cake I ever had was the first year. I remember thinking the chilies gave it this weird vegital quality that I hated. I haven't revisited because I'm really not a "chewy" stout guy anymore aside from the occasional bottle of Speedway.

    I got very subtle heat from the chilies. Not sure what that says about my heat tolerance. I enjoyed the beer, but probably wouldn't pick up another.
