Wyeast Smack Pack

    I don't know if this question has come up before, but can you smack a Wyeast pack immediately after taking it from the fridge (and then letting it come to room temperature) or do you have to first wait until it comes to room temperature before smacking it?

    You can smack it either way. I generally smack it immediately upon removing it from the refrigerator.
