Down here for the Boss concert and I wanted to at least check out the brand spankin new Xfinity Live! joint. So far it's amazing for a place to watch a game if you get kicked out of one, and a Victory Beer Hall is represented. But, I could see this place being overrun with assholes very quickly. So take care my fellow beer purest, I could see this place getting a bit rough over the next few months. Prosit!!!!

Great venue. Enjoyed a Braumeister Pils and a Helles Fire. The outdoor seating with fire pit is really nice. Look forward to pre event activities a whole lot more now.

At the Victory Beer Hall, 2 Dreamweavers, a Golden Monkey and a Stormking cost me $27.

Dreamweavers? So, they aren't just serving Victory?

victory had several locals on the menu, including nugget nectar on draft but they did not have it when i asked on saturday, drank hopdevils instead.

broad street bullies had a pretty decent beer menu as well, but again ran into the same problem, RR Blind Pig on the menu but not available, had a Damnation and some hopdevil there as well.

very cool venue. look forward to going back and catching a flyers game on the big screen.

They had a bunch of local breweries, including yards, troegs, DFH and IRRC stoudts. Maybe a few others.

Is anyone going to be checking it out before a sporting event? I'm going to the Philllies game next weekend and I'm wondering how crowded it will be before/after the game. I would think it can't be any worse than McFadden's but it is still brand new.

It was packed, PACKED, before the Springsteen shows.

Went to the Victory Beer Hall around the 5th inning or so of last night's exhibition game. Figured that would be the only time I could get over there without it being insanely packed/traffic wouldn't kill me. Wasn't crowded at all, but started getting more and more crowded until there were no tables/seats left by the 8th inning. I can't imagine this before a regular season Phillies game, or Eagles game, or Flyers playoff game. Still had a great time, beers were way too expensive at $7 a piece though.

It's going to be hell when there is inevitably a Flyers playoff game and Phillies regular season game the same night.

I was there on Sunday for the Flyers Penguins game. Crowd was going nuts most of the game and it started to get more and more packed as the game went on. I stayed in Victory's Beer Hall other than to go to the bathroom. First ordered a Baltic Thunder cause I had always seen it in bottles and it was showed on tap. One look and noticed that it was oddly yellow for a porter. Didn't even have a chance to complain cause I had to fight to get the hockey game put on. Ended up getting a liter of Braumeister Pils or two after with no more complaints.

The place is clearly working out the kinks in it's first week so I couldn't kill them for it. They had very limited beer selection as it all got wiped from the Springsteen shows/weekend. Really enjoyed myself overall though. The non-Victory options looked to be great if I could have seen a draft list at the table other than the waitress telling me verbally.

Went for the first time tonight and really liked the place. Checked out the Victory Beer Hall and had a Mad King Weiss and Hop Devil, then went to Broad Street Bullies and I had a Damnation. Nice beer selection, but I could see it being packed in there at times.

I went there after the Flyers/Senators game last Sat., and it was so packed that you literally could not move. Now granted, it was opening weekend, the game ran late due to OT and a shootout, and the Phils were playing too however, I don't see this as being that big of a culprit, as hundreds of thousands of people will always be around during the sporting events no matter what, so...

It's a cool place and definitely a nice addition to the sports complex...I am hoping some of the screwball fans we have in this town don't eventually ruin it, though...

This will certainly be a stop for me before Phils games.
