It's interesting that it seems Victory paid for naming rights but this doesn't seem like an actual Victory location run by the brewery (at least the way I read the article).

That's correct. Xfinity Live operates/manages VBH. However, Victory did assist in the training and education of the VBH employees. See the blog post here from Victory's page - http://victorybeer.com/blog/a-new-place-to-taste-victorytm/

great post. I hadn't seen that. Clears it up pretty nicely. The only thing I worry about is I hope there is an assurance that those two Miller taps don't creep up to 4, 6, 8, etc.

yeah that's the cheapest beer you'll get anywhere on premises, it equates to $0.25/oz or $3 for a 12oz beer or $4 for a 16oz however you want to look at it.

I'll still just bring my own and enjoy in the lot... unless it rains!

This place is a complete disaster. Stopped by after a Phils game and it was a complete clusterfuck. Overcrowded, understaffed and packed wall to wall with drunk douchebags. Ten minutes to get my ID checked, then twenty minutes to get inside, thirty minutes of trying to walk from the main entrance to Victory followed by another ten minute wait to get in. After that it was surprisignly easy to order a beer. Unfortunately they had already ran out of a few things and I had the wrong beer for me poured twice. Nobody there knows anything about beer not can they read the name of the beer correctly off of the tap handle. Hey have a second bar outside which is nice but it is also insanely crowded.

Inside seemed like a free for all with no servers or anywhere to order food. Outside you can't sit down unless you are ordering food. We walked off of the back porch for a second and were told in order to come back in we needed to wait in line at the main entrance again. There were more security guards than employees. Not equipped to handle a decent sized crowd yet alone almost 40,000 people after a baseball game.

Phew! That is why though I would like the experience of seeing a baseball game, I would be issuing too many beat downs to those who deserve it. I simply cannot tolerate those who became jerks and ruin the fun and experience, and especially if you come from out of the country, as I know some people do, and it makes for a sad experience....

I planned to go after Saturday's game, but there were already thousands of people waiting outside. Kinda seems pointless to even bother putting craft beer in a place like that.

I was there Saturday before the Phillies game. No problem getting thought the ID check line, but once inside it was a shit show. Just over crowded and dark. Place looks small from the outside and is even smaller once inside.

Spotted the Victory Beer Hall and navigated my way to their front door. Once inside the bar was 3 people deep, but I found an opening and ordered a beer. $6 for a Victory Mad King's Weiss is good in my book. Spotted doors to the outside and figured there would be a bit more room out there. There was and was able to enjoy my beer outside.

Totally a one and done for me

Was there after the 5th inning Saturday, was a fun place until the game ended. I enjoyed my 16oz pour of Hop Wallop. But when the game ended it was a mess. You have to leave the Brew Hall to go to the common bathrooms. My wife did this, then could not come back into the Brew Hall since it was at capacity. The bouncer would not let her in even though she said she just left and her party was in there, so we left. It was tough to get out even, as bouncers had to say "make way" for us to leave.

Sounds exactly like how I imagined this place to be.

    Cool Story, Bro time:
A coworker hooked me up with Eagles Draft Party tickets so we headed down last night. There was a huge line for the stadium that really made zero sense to wait in, so we popped over to Xfinity Live to check it out. I was actually smaller than I had expected to be and not busy at all. It would have been even less busy had there not been a Rammstein (Du, Du Hast, Du Hast Mich!!!) concert at Wells Fargo.

We only went into Victory and PBR but I thought they were pretty cool. PBR's deck situation was really nice. NN was on the list at Victory, but I got Headwaters. The biggest disappointment was that the bartender at PBR said they don't have 40s. You lied to me, Joe Sixpack!!! More likely that they realized that carrying 40s is a bad idea, but that's what made it awesome. Oh, well.

The inherent problem with the place is that it doesn't really make sense to go there when there aren't events going on since there are so many options in the city (plus, it's out of the way for a lot of people) but if you do go when there's something going on, it's bound to be packed, and I can't enjoy myself when a place is crazy. I guess it's a cool place for people who are into that sort of thing, but I don't see myself going there more than once a year or so.

I have heard stories about beer people lobbing a few softball questions at the servers and getting ridiculous recommendations (aka 'I dont like hoppy, what would you suggest?'). Hope that changes, it doesnt exactly reflect positively on Victory.

I definitely see your point but on the flip side, I would never expect to go to a place in a sports complex parking lot named Xfinity Live! and imagine that they would attract a lot of servers who are knowledgeable in all things beer. This is not a slam against them mind you, just saying that I do think one needs to look at the big picture and take it all into context.

We went before the Phillies game on Monday night and it was pretty smooth. Got right in to Victory Beer Hall, where they had Baltic Thunder and Storm King Stout. When I asked the server about them, she was really nice and gave me a sample of both. I went with the Storm King, which was served in a tulip glass. And this was even when they were at capacity. From there, I went outside, where there was a fire pit and a quiet outdoor bar serving Nugget Nectar. Definitely a better experience than if you try to go right after a game...

From what i saw the girls selling beers propbably weren't hired for their knowledge. Day job at Xfinity. Night job at Centerfolds (on the pole).

It's called adding value. Instead of creating endless new threads with he same information, I just added my two cents to an existing thread. Sorry you don't understand.
