What will people be drinking on Xmas day ? Anything special planned or will you be going down to your local for a few pints ? As I mentioned on a different thread I have a bottle of Brewdog Tokyo to get me through the Queen's Speech. Having to carry all my presents to my family I'll try to pick up something more closer to them.

Merry Xmas to you all. Happy drinking.

The Bruery - Autumn Maple, picked it up in the US in june so it'll make for a nice fall/Christmas beer.

Although it’s only been made for a few years, Williams Bros Nollaig (brewed with pine needles) is already a Christmas tradition for me. Otherwise, whatever cask barley wine the brewers local to wherever I am have available.

Long tradition standing in our household. We literally save up all year and gradually stock up for Xmas day family drinking.
Start the day with some single malt,
Brunch time some champagne with smoked salmon,
Nice red, claret or Rhône with Turkey lunch,
Beers in the afternoon, this year I've got Mikkeller Black, Struise Black Albert, Tiny Rebel Bass Drop and Tempest Double Shuck. Also have some old Stille Nachts and Tjeeses (or however you spell it)
Finish off the evening with port, Graham's LBV or crusted I quite like.

    Sleep 'til new years.

Whereabouts in Wales? If you're passing Cardiff a pit stop at Discount Supermarket could be good.

I generally drink beer all day going up the abv and end up asleep by 8pm
With the highlights generally coming from Cheshire Brewhouse & Struise
& I have 5 beers in this year over 10%
BUT I am scheduled to work on the 26th so not sure what I am going to do

The only definite I have planned is a big bottle of 3F Oude Gueze for with my meal, which I've been told I'm cooking so I also plan on holing up in the kitchen with a lot of imperial stouts. So far the box for the 3 festive days contains
    Ten Fidy
    Black Eyed King Imp
    Yellow Belly
    Yellow Belly Sundae
    Rain Shadow
    Broken Dream
    Broken Dream Isaly aged
    KBS
Got a couple of trips outta town to stock up on some more though.

I've a couple bottles of Old Chimneys' Good King Henry Special Reserve.
Christmas seems like a good enough excuse to crunk one open?

Either way, I'll be hitting something dark and full bodied. Pile it high, it's Christmas!

Been thinking about breaking out the 750ml duvel once we are back from visiting family. I've just bought some other options too, st bernadus tripel, Buxton the living end bourbon barrel and a collaboration quad between magic rock and brouwerij Kees.

Where do I go about acquiring some KBS here in the UK? I recently moved from the States and would love to find some. I drank my last one before I had to ship out.

Think this was the first year it's been available here. There was some available at a few places in May. You might want to find a thread on it as a few people on here got bottles from different parts of the country. A place near me had a bottle on Saturday which I got. I don't know if they have more left. Where do you live?

I got this one in a bottle shop in St. Andrews called Luvians. Had one in a pub in Aberdeen called CASC at the weekend there. You should stumble across it. If I see it again I'll get you a bottle mate.

time rummage in the cellar, quite possibly one of my last Courage Russian Imperial Stout from the 70's, definitely an Eldridge Pope Thomas Hardy Ale and a couple of Fullers Vintage Ales (to hell with the expense!).
