Not sure where the appropriate forum to post this, but figured people should know. I cracked my 2015 last night and it definitely went bad. Drinkable but it has turned. I know Stone did a limited batch called Locoveza which was pretty much soured Xocoveza charred. Was not a fan of that and not a fan of my soured Xocoveza. Drink'em if you got'em!

Indeed. Regardless wether or not a beer is ageable I'll always just drink it. I've Intentionally aged kegs at work of Weyerbacher tiny for 4 years. I was fortunate enough that they were ok.

Yep, I opened one about 6 months ago and poured it straight down the drain.

Sorry to hear this, I hate pouring bad beers. We drank mine Friday night at a share and it was very tasty. It had all the Xocoveza notes with some nice sweet bourbon notes.

Just had mine. Phenomenal. Looking forward to regular Xocoveza.

Well I'll certainly keep my eye out for that. Thanks for the update. Hopefully you've let the brewery know first.

I'm reminded of two incidents that coincided years ago - both breweries will remain unnamed. I picked up a 6-pack of an IPA and found it soured so I let the brewery know just so that they were aware. If it was my beer I'd want to know so I could pull it from the market! At the same time I bought a whole case of an expensive big beer from another brewery and found that sour as well. I contacted them (this is a famous brewer that we all know, very nice guy) and he asked me if I was going to return it to the distributor and I said no, it was interesting, just off, and I'd keep it but he offered to replace it himself anyway if I wanted to swing by and pick it up - so I said OK, work's done for the day for a road-trip 3 hours away to visit and say hello and bring them a sample bottle so they could run it through the lab. I'd like to think we became friends, I was just trying to help and it seemed appreciated. The other brewery however was pissed, and treated me as if I'd insulted them. Guess which brewery is alive and well and going very good today and which brewery has failed? I've met Greg and he seems like just as much of a nice guy (maybe a little arrogant ) and I'm sure he'd appreciate the heads up first, even if it wasn't going to him but someone else who'd handle it. AND, I'm guessing he's probably already read this as well or will soon.

This beer, as well as their Bitter Chocolate Oakmeal Stout were infected. Plenty of threads all over the internet about it.

I had a 2016 B3 Xocoveza charred and it was not infected.

I think some of you guys plant it in your head that it's infected. Clearly a few of us thought it was great.
