Xocoveza Mocha Stout in MD

Bump. Was looking for it at Wine Source last week, no dice.

 

I'm sure I've seen it somewhere, but can't remember where. It's got to be either Jason's, RC Rodgers or Montgomery Plaza Liquors in Catonsville.

 

Can we make this nj too.... Haven't seen it around here either

 

Any sightings in the DMV yet?

 

Picked up a few at P Street yesterday, leaving 5 total... Then a friend went and got 2 more.

 

Picked up 2 bottles at Schneider's in DC today after work.

 

Been in NC for what seems like weeks now...everyone down south is LOVING it...want a bottle!

 

We should see a bunch of deliveries today. Everyone post location and price when it drops.

 

I bought 2, not reading the label, I did not know it was a spiced beer. I had two ounces and drain poured the rest. My fault for not reading the label.

If anyone gets shut out and likes spiced beers. drop me a message I am sure we can work out a very easy trade.

Per Perfect Pour today, "We're hoping for it next week."

 

A homeless guy I was talking to told there's plenty of this to go around. I'd imagine less savvy accounts are purchasing a case or two a week as some of those stocahsticity and collab beers are real stinkers taste and sales wise, as I imagine essentially no one comes back and gets another bottle.

I thought this was awesome, and will get, I'm guessing ~8 bottles before it's said and done. I love me some abraxas, but I like 2 of these for the same money and no drive around more.

 

Has this ale hit NoVA yet?

 

I saw it 3 different places in Arlington yesterday

 

Picked up a bottle at Norms in Vienna on Thurs. Much better than expected! Still haven't seen MD yet

 

How does this compare to Mexican Cake or Bomb! on spice level? I love coffee stouts, but the Mexican-chocolate spice isn't my thing, wouldn't bother with either of those two again personally.
