I set up an auction roto league on yahoo and I'm looking for 9 more teams. I've borrowed some parameters from other people that have set up leagues on here. Everyone buys one local 6 pack (or 72 oz.) and we would use beerfinder to make sure people are getting stuff they can not normally get.

The winnings would look something like this:
1st place would get 6 boxes
    2nd would get 4 boxes
    3rd would get 2 boxes

Rules are fairly standard for a roto league. If your interested message me. I've got 3 teams in so plenty of room.

I saw you posted elsewhere that it's 6x6. Standard is usually 5x5. What are the categories?

It seems there are a lot of you out there who love fantasy baseball. If youve never done an auction before, give it a shot. You wont regret it. Snake draft=Budweiser, Auction=Heady.... to put it into beer terminology.

Ugh not a fan of these categories at all, but I'll play if you still have room.

OBP already factors AVG in, so it's silly to have both. Similar argument for QS and W.

If you really want to go 6x6 I would change QS to Holds and OBP to BB.

It would probably just get moved back here. Not sure why there hasnt been more interest. Maybe because there have been a bunch of fantasy baseball league threads already and people have already joined them instead?

Never done an auction league, but I would be down if the buy-in weren't too steep. Don't really want to wager too much with a format I'm unfamiliar with

How does a buy in get much lower than a 6pack? A single 12oz bottle?

Shoot, guess there's no such thing as too many fantasy baseball leagues. So if the auction is 29th or 30h you obviously wont be counting the Australia series? And how many teams you have so far?

Only have 6 so far would love to have you. There is a way to include the stats in the league after the draft:
Rotisserie and Points-based leagues that draft after 11:59pm PDT on Friday, March 21, will begin scoring:

    • Daily: the following day
    • Weekly: the following Monday
Never fear, though! Your league still can incorporate games from the Australia series into its scoring if the Commissioner enables Retroactive Scoring for the league.
