This is an experimental hop, I believe, used by Sierra Nevada in their single hop Harvest series.
This hop/beer blew my mind. It was super bitter up front, followed by super piney on the way down, and then citrus for the follow-through, nullifying all the bitterness. Basically my perfect hop and I need to try it again.

I haven't yet found any concrete info on this hop. Does anybody know if it can be purchased for homebrewing? If not, does anybody know of another beer that uses this hop?

HBC-291 has not been released yet, so it is not available through the usual channels. There may be one acre or so of it. You might contact Yakima Valley Hops and see if they have it as one of their experimental varieties.
