i was a huge fan of last year's edition, to the tune of a couple extra bottle purchased. I have one left from last year and just bought two of this year's version.

    Anyone with me here?

I have a bottle of each of the past 2 years, haven't seen this year's version but will gladly pick it up when I do...

I think I bought 2 last year. I drank all and thoroughly enjoyed it. Might grab one if I see it kicking around.

Not familiar with this beer but it looks like they had a bottle release party in early November. This year's version is a Belgian Quad.

Sorry, didn't realize the OP already tracked it down and bought some.

I'm looking forward to drinking it at a Christmas party and reporting out.

I'm not even going to give out the secret of where I saw 13 and 14 still kicking around. I'm also looking for the VT thread for Budweiser County Brand Stout here as well.

Brother in law hooked me up with the 2013 Maple and 2014 Stout and both are in the cellar now. Planning to break out the maple in the spring and the stout at some point next year.

Aw, man. It was really good fresh. I'm crossing my fingers it held up.

Hmm .. any hints on that 13? I was late to the party and joined in during their second release.

Wanted to revive this for the sole purpose of trying to find a '13 ... anyone?

I saw a good review online, but not on here. I tend to stay away from reviews, though. It sounds like an arrogant statement (and it's mighty reductive), but I'd rather just decide for myself. If I relied on reviews, I wouldn't have bought a 2014, a Mayflower Winter Stout, and the list goes on ...

There is probably some truth to that but I tend to think BAs as a whole have pretty good taste buds ( or at least ones that align with mine)

I had a pour at their Assembly Square location and liked it. Was quite drinkable for a barrel aged 12% beer and the price per bottle was reasonable for the style(I think it was $12). Might pick up a bottle as a gift for someone who lives outside of their distro.

And as far as gimmicks go, this is top notch.

Buy two of these every year, drink one fresh at Christmas and cellar on for next year! And buy two more then!

    I'm all in.
