Found a 12oz bottle today (in Jackson, TN) for $5.49 and picked one up. The store said they only received 48 bottles. Gonna have it tomorrow for NBS. Description on side of bottle: A two-year journey of a Belgian Dark Strong Ale, fermented with Brettanomyces and souring bacteria, and aged in 40-year-old Oloroso Sherry casks, Merlot wine barrels, and Bourbon barrels. Picked up a bottle at taproom to bring home to Florida with me. I don't usually like the darker sours but.... never again! The story sold me
Had it at the East Nashville beer fest. Very good. Def worth buying a few bottles to see hownit develops.
It just came out and is very limited and one of the best Embrace the Funk I've had so far. I picked some up on Saurday at Craft Brewed & saw some more at Frugal McDougals. Hope this helps and definitely worth picking some up. It has 11.2 % ABV for a 12oz bottle with the cost of 4 to 5 bucks which ain't bad either!!
For anyone who likes good food and beer, Last night at the city house mystery beer dinner they announced and released a special ETF beer for on premise only at city house. Its a gin barrel aged blonde. Another Great beer from Brandon!!
