Year Round American Blondes

    I was getting sick of IPAs and stouts so I drank some summer beers and really liked Victory Summer Love and Kona Big Wave Golden ale. I know Summer Love is seasonal and BA says Big Wave is year round but I haven't seen any lately.

    Any other easy to find shelf blondes? I'm in Georgia.

    Brooklyn pennant ale is a nice easy drinking pale without a ton of happiness. Southern Star Bombshell was pretty decent too and year-round according to BA.

    Big Wave is definitely year round, and delicious.

    To answer your question, I know of none in the NY area, aside from Big Wave. Summer Love is a wonderful unique beer

    If you liked Summer Love then this one is in that ballpark- golden color, slightly hoppy aroma, not too heavy.

    Which Anderson Valley beers did you try before? If it was Summer Solstice (cream ale- not bad, but kind of simple), then Poleeko Gold is definitely more up your alley.

    Adirondack Dirty Blonde was tweaked a little this past summer, and I thought it much better now. And it is year round
