Year-round coffee stouts

Speedway Stout.

 

Founders Breakfast Stout

 

+1 for Speedway. I always try to keep a few of those aging at all times

 

Only available in the Fall, though in some areas overproduction and low sales might lead to it being around forever.

Speedway is the only coffee stout I can think of that's completely year round tbh.

 

Try Evolution's Rise Up Stout. I was pleasantly surprised with it. Not sure if they're distributed up there though.

 

Unfortunately 8th Wonder doesn't ship out of Texas yet, but their Rocket Fuel is a jewel, it is a porter vs a stout, but I like it because it packs a lot for an 4.5 ABV beer. Was at a wine tasting this weekend in Cypress Tx and they had a beer tent and 8th Wonder was there with this on tap. I had my Bud Light friend try it out, I may have a convert....

Victory At Sea. I know it's a porter.

edit* I might be wrong about its availability, but I think Ballast Point may plan on making it year round.

 

Dunno if you get this where you are but Peche Mortel from Dieu du Ciel is year-round.

 

I think Odd Side Ales Bean Flicker is year round. It's not a stout but it will do the trick, especially on summer mornings.

 

Santa Fe Java Stout is year round if memory serves. Not sure on the distro.

 

Dominion Morning Glory I believe is year-round.

 

Tree House brews Double Shot on a regular basis. They actually have it on right now

 

Tröegs Java Head Stout is a decent year round offering.

 

Wiseacre Gotta Get Up to Get Down

 

Modern Times Black House.

 

BBC Coffeehouse Porter (I know not a stout) is available year round, and goes for $3-4 a bomber. They are out of Deerfield, MA. Depending on where you are in NY, they should be readily available.
