    Hi guys and gals,

Seeing as I live in Ecuador and yeast is only available in the dry powder packet form here, severely limiting the amount a varieties available to the (home) brewers of Ecuador, I decided to start my own yeast bank in due time. This to provide both me and my fellow Ecuadorian (home) brewers with quality yeast with a as large as possible variety in strains.

In order to accomplish this I will need the help of all you yeast wranglers and ranchers out there.
If you have a yeast bank and you are willing to share your yeasts to help those of us that do not have access to the huge selections from labs like wyeast and white labs, please respond here or send me a PM.

This way you can not only help others have access to a large selection of yeast, but you will also have a redundancy for your yeast bank. If anything happens with a strain in your yeast bank that you shared with me, causing you to lose that strain, I will gladly send some back to you asap at no charge what so ever, any shipping costs will be on me.

I estimate that by February next year I will have everything ready to go to establish my yeast bank. Biggest reason for this delay being raising the funds for a laboratory grade freezer capable of -80F to safely store yeast in for years to come.
