    Hey everyone,

My second batch of beer I've ever brewed has been in primary fermentation for 6 days, and I'm nervous about the yeast. The first batch, I was seeing bubbling in the airlock every 15 seconds at this stage. For this batch, it is every 70 seconds. It's died down steeply over the last few days after bubbling like crazy with a huge head on day 2. Biggest difference is that the first batch used malt extract and this batch was all grain.

Should I be concerned? Should I repitch and wait the next couple of weeks, or is it totally fine?

This is a Belgian Wit, btw.

    Thanks!!

Shouldn't be anything to worry about, let it finish doing it's thing. Different beers and yeast will all behave differently.

Bubble counts are a terrible quantitative indicator of fermentation activity. At any rate (pun intended), you'd expect the fermentation to be slowing down by now.

Good to know. I'll stop obsessing over it. Thanks, gentlemen.
