Just got done getting my starter going for brewing on Saturday. 1 Liter starter. I did not take into account the boil off and only ended up with about 800 ml starter. The amount of DME is correct so a “thicker” starter than I wanted. Anything I should be concerned about?

I wouldn't worry about it. But I'm curious...how long did you boil it? A couple minutes is enough.

I was going off the video from More Beer on how to do a Yeast Starter. They advised 10-15 minutes for the boil. OK, good to know, so a couple minutes for the boil is all that is needed. Thanks!!!
