Yee Haw is a new brewery that just opened in Johnson City, TN. They are distributing to the local area as well as Knoxville. Four standard offerings and one seasonal at the moment. Everything I have had from here has been really good. The Oktoberfest seasonal is fantastic. If you are in the JC area or in Knoxville I would recommend them. Pilser Pale Ale Dunkel Eighty (Scottish Ale) Oktoberfest (Seasonal)
Sounds mighty tasty, will be Knoxville first weekend in October for the Hogs v. Vols. Woo Pig Sooie!!!
The brewey/taproom is literally down the street from me and I can attest to the fact that the entire operation is fantastic. The brewmaster was hired from Lagunitas and was over their Chicago brewery. If anyone is familiar with Ole Smoky Moonshine, the same individual who started that company is behind Yee-haw Brewing so needless to say, it is a well-funded operation
Anything in bottles or cans? Got family heading down in the area next week and always looking to try something new
From the website: Package stores stocking yeehaw in Knoxville include Casual Pint locations in Farragut, Hardin Valley, Northshore, Bearden, Downtown, and Fountain City, Cedar Bluff wine and spirits, Hops and Hollers, Middlebrook Package Store. Johnson City has Roadrunner Markets and some other places I'm not familiar with.
Cool thanks. I must have missed that. I asked because all of the images on their site have labeled bottles but when I looked at the beers they all said bottles coming soon, so wasnt sure if they actually packaged anything yet
FWIW, I haven't seen any bottles around, but I just assume they're there. At least maybe available for growler fills. But good luck man, have never seen, heard, or had anything from them. Tell your folks to look for Wiseacre beers too.
AFAIK they haven't started distributing bottles yet. I think it's supposed tohappen this month, though.
