    Stone IPA is the beer you are looking for. Union Jack and Two Hearted would also work well. West Coast IPA (as a style) is highly hopped but also uber drinkable.

    As far as more malt accentuated IPAs, I would go for Modus Hoperandi over Torpedo. Much more interesting hop profile and beer in general. Centennial would work too.

    The only selection I see here that has wide distribution is Torpedo so for the OP in SC, it may be his best option. By the way, although it's not the best one recommended here, Torpedo would get my vote since it's readily available and fairly middle of the road.
