I'm also very close to a few other decent RI breweries, but with Trillium so close, I don't usually bother. These are the big 3 for me.

Night Shift - 18.5 miles, 4.12 avg
Castle Island - 26 miles, 4.12 avg
Idle Hands - 17.3 miles, 4.12 avg

 

The closest brewery to me is about 55 or 60 miles away. But there's about 5 or 6 breweries with in 20 miles of each other there

 

SingleSpeed and Guerrilla are both within a 10-minute drive of my house. You've probably never heard of either, since most of their stuff is available only at the breweries.

 

It is safe to assume that we live pretty close to each other (I'm in Rincon Valley). The only difference on my list is that I would swap out Petaluma Hills for Moonlight.

There are other breweries closer than say Carton, but they aren't nearly as good which is why it makes this list.

Each is about 24 miles away, but most are likely to be a 60+ minute trip one-way (minimum 45 minutes) . There are a couple of closer breweries of diminished interest. I pick my my visiting times carefully.

Ocelot Brewing Company - 13.5 miles / 4.1 average

Flix brew house, 6.6 miles na avg never been.
Twisted vine 7.5 miles 3.5 never been.
515 7.7 miles 4.04 avg, great hoppy stuff. Some of it rivals TG hops for best in Iowa. Must stop in central Iowa.
Exile 11 miles 3.88 avg core beers are average, Gigi has won gabf gold for the dunkel category last year. Their sours are very good. I've been drinking a ton of peach berry bohemian from them lately.
Confluence 12 miles 3.89 avg solid local. Their BA stuff and the commander Stephens barley wine are really good, but their core beers are just above average. They should be canning by the end of the year which will make me buy them more.
