    My wife thought I have too much beer. She now is my ex wife. OTOH i have gotten my cellar down under 200 bottles and looking to reduce it even more.

    well some of these pics make me feel better and OP has nothing to worry about, think I'm up to around 90 big bottles and about 70 little ones... it's slowly growing and will be thinned out in the cold winter when mailing beer has to pause for the freezing months... you know who you should talk to... paging @5EKF :rolling_eyes:

    I think that's quite reasonable. It's not like your gonna drink it all this weekend. For God's sake though, please put the baby stuff on another shelf. It's killin' my buzz and that's probably why your wife thinks it's overboard.

    Dave, I yearn for the day I have 200 or less bottles in my cellar or an open shelf in the fridge for food. :slight_smile:

    Jay, you've got a LONG way to go and need to build your cellar up!! :wink:

    hole in the back next to the fluorescent bulbs is full too and the other two boxes and bottles are the overflow that don't fit in the corner anymore

    I've been there, done that. Usually after release seasons when I'm stockpiling.

    lol my wife is less happy about this 'situation' every day and getting three boxes in the mail yesterday didn't help :wink:

    I was up around 500 for a while, but having discovered some of the bottles had really gone downhill, and that I began not to know what I had in the mess, it was time to drink em down. Tough work but someone's gotta do it.

    I am more or less in that same situation. And it is VERY tough work. I have a bunch of aging hoppy beers in the fridge that need to be sessioned asap, starting tonight!

    only one I've had fresh that was better than aged was KBS so far but I've stuck to a strict regiment of only Imperial stouts or other dark brews around 9% or more getting stashed away
