OP, I can't send a photo because my 300+ bottles are in two different locations in the garage (cellar and beer fridge) and I lack a camera with a wide enough lens to capture either. Too many shoes or bags? Yes, that's a thing. Too much beer? Nonsense.

 

Let me tell you from personal experience telling a woman she has too many shoes is a one way ticket to the doghouse.

 

You call dibs on... the pampers?

 

Earlier this year, my wife bought me a 16 cubit foot fridge and now it's pretty much full. The problem is that I buy beer faster than I drink it. It's gotten to the point that if I come home from work and I'm in a good mood, my wife asks me where I stopped and what I bought.

 

My wife stopped saying "you have too much beer" when she realized it was a fight she could not win.

She has since moved onto "you have to do something with all these glasses, this is ridiculous."

Show your wife the picture below and tell her:
"At least guests don't ask where the cups are, and open the cupboard to this..."



It started with me claiming the top two shelves for my glassware.
As you can see, I have infiltrated half of the plastic cup shelf (plastic cups go wherever there is space now).
And I even have two tasters on the right side of the drinking glass shelf on the bottom.
I didn't realize how bad I suck until I took the picture and typed this. Oh yeah, I have more glasses in the dining room.

 

Can I move in with you, please??

 

We have a liquor cabinet in the living/dining area. On one side, there are shelves for glasses. It can hold up to 12. So I took all my beer glasses from the cabinet and put them in the liquor cabinet. I only kept my 12 favorites and gave the rest away.

 

Too much beer?! More like too little space.

My "collection" pales in comparison to some of you admirable legends but my priorities are straight.

 

Wife: "It's me or your beer!"
Me: Well, I hate to see you go...."

 

Lose the pampers - everything else looks fine. Tell your wife that you about normal.

Part of me wishes that's all the beer I had. (Another part thinks I don't have nearly enough...)
I just looked through my inventory.
Bombers & 750s:
114+12 homebrew=126 bottles (10.5 cases)
500 and 12 fl oz:
32+57 homebrew=89 bottles (3.7 cases)
It's stashed away and not very photogenic.

 

I don't think you're supposed to refrigerate bananas...

This thread is funny if only because I get too see what everyone keeps in their fridges.

 

My wife cringes every time she walks by the pantry under the stairs that has 100+ bottles. I thin it out with a big tasting with my friends, but the cellar always looks the same.

 

Better eat those bananas soon...

 

This was earlier this year when I pulled everything out for inventory. I have added at least 125 bottles since then.



I'll probably pull it all out one weekend night when I can't sleep and do inventory again while making sure the holes in 6/4 pack carriers are full.
