GI Nightstalker. It had a nice flavor, but was incredibly sweet. Just couldn't handle it

Had SA Boston Lager with lunch. Later I'm introducing Ani's cousin to craft beer, but because he's not afraid of flavor or stuck to a certain brand, we had:

    SN Torpedo
    Two Hearted
    Goose Isle IPA
    Hop Devil

and of all the things to find in Puerto Rico, Founders Breakfast Stout.

He's already comparing so there's potential. I think it's bed time now.

Bottled infection = drainpour for me, otherwise I'll either share (pass it off) on those who might appreciate it more, or use it for cooking. I suffered through that UFO Hefe and don't blame the OP one bit!

You know it's time for a drain pour when...

The words Rogue and Voodoo are on the bottle.

There's your problem. I also had a few of these linger for a long time. After many friends turned my offer down I finally took a sip of one and realized it was drain pour time...

However, they would probably lend themselves well to some sort of cookie, cake, or dessert recipe.

I had a friend who, one night last winter, took a picture of a giant, well, "slimeball" that came out of the end of a Founders IS bottle asking what the fuck it was. He said the beer tasted fine and everything, but he saw it at the bottom of the empty bottle and thought it looked really damn weird.

Vermonster might be the best originally styled barleywine or black IPA; whatever they want to call it, call it damn good.

Have you had it lately? I think all of their beers suck since they moved to the new location and most if not all of their old brewers have moved on.

It has to be infection or a seriously sweet or syrupy beer for me to drain pour.

I threw a Pumpking in the trash disposal upside down after only drinking about 4-6oz. God that is a horrible beer. The only beer I ever got mad at. I also drain poured about half of a South Austin Saison because it was a syrupy mess. I only finished half because the bottle was $12 :grimacing: First and last time.

i've drain poured a ruination a few years back... probably not the best choice for my first IPA experience.
