You might be a BA if...

...your platonic ideal of a great beer is a sweet, boozy dark mess flavored with vanilla/cacao/coffee/marshmallows and triple barrel aged to make sure it tastes like a chocolate candy-bar...

 

You stumble upon a store shelf where there are 9 bottles of Bourbon County Backyard Rye, with no limit, and only buy 2 so that others can experience it tor was taking 2 being a douche? ...Side note, i traded one within 8 hours to someone on BA iso of it.

 

You drive around for 2 hours to 5 different stores looking for specific extras to throw in your trades only to not find the beer (White Rajah and Columbus IPA) you were looking for. So you buy singles of other stuff from the store 5 minutes from your home.

Well... No beer pong, but did play a game of Flippy Cup with KBS. Ya I was already bombed on PBR and thought it was a great idea.

Couple things that I've done recently that remind me of my BA-ness:

- Host a small party and beg people not to bring beer, because you are hosting the party in part to reduce your inventory and hope more friends will 'see the light' of fancy beer

- Avoid buying a beer with dinner while eating out because you have so much at home that needs drinking

 

When someone tells you there is "basically no difference between witbier's and american pale wheat ales" and you walk away without commenting

 

had someone ask, "do you work here?" just yesterday in a store.

 

Interested in knowing what you consider the difference to be, since every time I look up an american wheat on BA, it's classified as a Witbier.

You "might" be a BA if you tell the guy fixin' to buy a 6 pk of Modelo that he'd probably get less skunk if he bought cans instead of clear bottles. But as always, unsolicited advice, only.

american PALE wheat ale's. They taste largely different, as the spices in witbier's are different.

 

It's like saying Blue Moon and Little Sumpin' Sumpin' are "essentially the same beer"
