Hey, I'm going to Rare Beer Fest and What the Funk (crazy for the same day, I know), but my wife and I booked resos to Young Guns dinner at Kitchen Denver as well...any ideas what'll be opened? Is the caliber Jai Alai or Apple Brandy Huna (using CCB as an example)? I'm just struggling w signing up for this in a vacuum (@ $125/person) knowing I'm going to other great fests that these breweries are pouring at. Any ideas?

The Kitchen beer dinners have not only been the GABF week highlight but some of the best beer related events of the year. The food is intricately paired with each beer(s) and really takes the experience to a heightened level of enjoyment. The brewers and their crew will be in attendance and really bring the thunder. This isn't the casual sort of meal, you can tell that all are happy to show off a little. Previous years turned into quite the show, bottles of Izzy have been known to appear... You can tell the one who wears the chef coat and orchestrates the food is quite into beer himself. You won't be disappointed.

I will be there! Very excited. I saw the Bruery was planning on bringing Mash n Grind and Windowsill for the dinner. I was worried about the same, just basic flagships being brought. But I figure, it's GABF week, it;s a beer dinner, and they're some awesome breweries. I'll be happy, but am praying for some special bottles.

I'm contemplating going, but it's hard to throw down $125/pp without any info on the food or drink menu except for the breweries in attendance.

Made reservations for my wife and I. They take a CC # but won't charge you up front and you can cancel without penalty within 48hrs is what I was told on the phone. I am anticipating a great beer and food line up. You don't put on a dinner like this with run of the mill offerings.

We're going to be there one way or another. Hopefully we won't miss anything if we're a few minutes late.

Probably you will be fine. These things tend to start slow and take a few hours. It is worth it.

We are keeping a waiting list. I know we for sure had two drop out yesterday. It is likely we will have a few more dropouts through the week.

    Beers include
    Prarie Bomb
    Prarie 'Merica
    Cigar City Good Gourd
    Cigar City Forgotten Island
    Jester King Atrial Rubicite
    Jester King Das Wunderkind!
    Bruery Windowsill
    Bruery Mash and Grind
Crooked Stave Nightmare on Brett (rye whiskey)
    Crooked Stave L'Brett d'Plum
    Maybe more

Should be fun. I'll have a menu in a few days. It's lots of beer and lots of food and fun.

Wow! somewhat finalized a menu today. Should be a big one. Bring an appetite. We are planning for extra valet/cab service so let's all be smart about this.

Please, if you are attending and we have yet to meet, I'll be the guy in a ball cap and a chef coat. strung out but grateful. Let's hug.
