i would tend to agree, especially since there's places where you could go and have hopslam, nugget nectar or hoppy hill farmstead beers without any hassle whatsoever.

i'll still be looking to have a glass though at some point.

Oh, if I can find it without the long lines I'll gladly have a pour. Stand outside like I did last year? Ha, hell no.

Well, looks like Capone's is tapping it this Saturday at 10:30. I'll be going to Imminent Liquidation though. Enjoy everyone.

I just got the email too, along with the 4,900 other people on the distribution. LOL Ought to be a zoo. Decent lineup of IPA's for certain.

Same here - still thinking about going, though. How crazy can it be at 10:30a in Norristown?

Brewing in Lancaster on Saturday, so Capone's is a no go for me... But I feel like I'd have to be in line at 8AM. Love the beer, but not doing that. Hoping there's a ticketed event I can grab a ticket for at some point. Would love to go back to Blue Dog for it. That was a great time last year.

I anticipate it'll be crazy enough. This even usually generates a line at the door. I'd recommend getting there early.

If I were going, I'd want to be in line no later than 9, and even then I'd be a bit worried. 8:30 or 8 to be safe...

Last year my group got there around 8:30 for the 10:30 tapping, and we were within the first 20 people or so.

That sounds about right. There are definitely people that show up mad early for this...myself included. I enjoy it. It's fun to hang out with people and bullshit before heading in.

last year people started lining up at least 2 hours before the event, but everyone that was in line was able to get pours, since matt does 5oz-ish pours instead of 10+oz pours like everyone else - take that as you will.

i can tell you right now that list is not even remotely complete, as it's lacking all the suburban locations that got it.
