Monk's confirmed that they received a half. I'm not sure about other places, but at least one made it to Philly.

Excellent, thanks- I'm trying to (carefully) advise some co-workers who've never tried PtY how to go about (attempting) to have the experience. I bought a ticket last year weeks in advance when I had mine, but it looks like nobody is doing it that way this year.

Also, Eulogy posted in this thread that they have a half keg of it.

edit: at Teresa's the word I got was "it's bigger than a sixtel." That's all I know.

Just had this year's at Pinocchio's in Media. The guys handled this really well, announcing it late-night for their loyals locals but opting nevertheless for everyone to have a fair shot. It kicked in less than half an hour but there sure were a lot of smiles on this rainy day (mine being one). Thanks Tim, Dan, et. al.

Drink Philly also has that list, which is being tweeted by them, Philly Tap Finder, and probably some other folks. Hell, I'm surprised beernews hasn't done a feature about Younger in Philly. The cat's out of the bag, y'all. I foresee a lot of unhappy campers at some bars in the upcoming few weeks.

Ok, I'm surprised. So some places are getting halves, and some sixtels? Hmmmmm, how is that determined I wonder.

Obviously, I have no idea, but if I recall correctly, RR did mention that they made a somewhat larger batch this year. So maybe that's why they shipped more beer out to SEPA this year? Just speculating...

I've had this year's batch of PtY now... I'm about 90% sure I'm still going to Monk's, but I probably won't even get another PtY. VERY underwhelming this year. I'll take any other RR offering over PtY at this point. Or Bitter Valentine.

It's probably because Tom Peters (Monk's) is friends with Vinny and is the reason RR is in SEPA.

Some of you were probably there/still are there as I'm typing this, but we can all cross TJ's off the upcoming list now. They tapped PtY earlier this afternoon.

$5.75 for a 8oz pour (they were using different glasses on each floor) I kicked the keg. Thanks for the last minute ticket, Scoats.

And seeing as Teresa's is the only bar in the area to have Russian River Damnation on tap year round, they would be in the front runnings to get a bigger sized keg.

Also snagged a glass at TJ's after the tweet. I had to leave work to "go to the bank" real quick.

I think not filling 4 growlers per person helps with availability as well ...

Hate to say it, but I have to agree. I'm glad I got some, it's a great IPA but nowhere near the magic of last year. BTW - kudos to TJs for making it fairly obvious to their followers that they were tapping it.

Yeah, Jeff and the gang did things right... which shouldn't come to a surprise to anyone that hangs out there.

Having Hopslam side by side with PtY demonstrated just how great a beer Hopslam is.
