Flavor mostly. The satisfaction of finding a limited release beer when you least expect it. The wide variety of beer styles. You can go on and on.

Just like banging chicks. You get tired of just banging one, gotta go out and sample as many as you can.

It's a (mostly) tasty adventure or something like that.

Sorry, not trying to call anybody out, it is an art, and taste does matter, and social responsibility is great, and we all like to stick up forthe underdog. But face it, we want the buzz

I drank Macro beers for 30+ years without ever being aware of such a thing as craft beer. I mistakenly thought that all beer tasted pretty much the same. I don't recall ever seeing or hearing about any other breweries other than the macros (except Sam Adams). It's like craft beer is some huge secret that you would never hear about unless you were in the inner circle of some mysterious cult. Sure I had tried a few beers from Sam Adams, New Castle, Killians, and the like. But let's face it most of these breweries offerings are mediocre at best. I was introduced to my first real taste of craft beer at a "flying saucer" just a few years ago and there's been no turning back for me.

For me, it is mostly about the taste. But it's also about the passion and culture of microbreweries and their following. It's about the pursuit of the best thing you've ever let pass your lips. Yes, I've finally drank the cool-aid. I'm now part of the inner circle and have began witnessing to others daily and helping bring them to this age of beer enlightenment. Most of them, like me, had never heard of craft beer and were just sheep enjoying what the commercial breweries told them to enjoy. Liking what they were told to like. For those of you who have drank craft beer for 10 plus years, I envy you.

    Cheers BA's!
