I apparently like barrel aged beers the best.

 

For the life of me, I can't tell you clearly what put Mosaic ahead of All Green, but Mosaic just simply "woke me up" to next level stuff and All Green reinforced my mea culpa. Just two of the most shockingly great beers I've had.

this is one of my "Catcher in the Rye" beers, as in like the movie Conspiracy Theory, every time I see this beer I have to buy at least one. Have lots of various vintage versions and I'll keep on buying them until I simply can't. It's the perfect holiday sipper IMO.

 

That review was of a 3 year old bottle. I then went out and dropped ~$110 on a whole case to put in the cellar. So every winter I have a few bottles as they get older.

Similarly, the JW Lees Harvest review was of a 10 year old bottle - I've picked up various batches of that for the cellar as well. I've had all 4 of the variants, but I think the original is still best.

 

Also a fan of BC Barleywine (in my top 10).
