Try a month of beers only brewed within 50 miles of Boston( a little north of there) And setting the bar really high, not waking up on the front lawn with dew on my face. Worked in 2015, not so much in 2014.

Drink more beer i enjoy instead of buying something like a $16 bomber and hating it and dumping it.

And get a few go to beers for certain occasions such as BBQs, cold nights, summer. Sifting through singles hold every one im with up.

Only buy new beers in singles unless i know im not in for a suprise

Only buy bombers if its a must for me.

I have gone back to basics now for a couple months and it is like rediscovering beer all over again. Cheers.

Your #1 made me laugh out loud because A) I could never actually make it through a whole month even if its B) February AKA the shortest month of the year.

Also- about #4- just F'ing do it, dude. I have only brewed 3 batches (partial-mash) so far, but none have been drain pours and 2 of 3 were better than most you find available commercially. It's really not that difficult or time-consuming- so much so that you will literally attempt kicking yourself when you see how easy it is

The above being said- I definitely want to brew more beer!
    That's about it.

    1) Somehow drink more..but weigh less
    2) Visit at least 3 new breweries, and at least one of those being out of state!
    3) Finally move out of my parents' house and host a "Beer Tasting Party"
    4) Learn the Basics of Homebrewing.

    3. Try more subtle styles
    4. Possibly do some beer trading
    5. Stop buying huge, infrequent hauls and buy smaller, frequent ones

Bring my cellar down, even though I only have about 60 beers in it right now. Also, want to start supporting more local breweries as some of the breweries I used to enjoy are being sold off. Also looking to cut back on excess purchases, make the most of my money. And buy lots of Founders as distribution is hitting southern CA this year.

To try and be more tolerable and not get so irritated when I see the words drain pour or whale.. or hear some tool brag about his cellar of beers that never get drank or get hoarded for trades. And of course .. drinking more of the best Michigan beer that I can easily acquire.

Resume healthy beer enjoyment in 2017.

My new years beer resolution is to finally land a BVDL. Last year my resolution was to land either (or both) of BVDL or Blabaer, I missed on the former but succeeded on the latter! Confident I can achieve my goal this year too!

I also want to get back into home brewing.

And work less weekends (which would allow me to do more home brewing!).

Buy and trade for more one off beers that are brewery release only. Miss trading and getting dark lord and darkness from surley. Need to get back into it

I want to visit a brewery (never done it), and exercise more to counteract all the beer. :grinning: A friend recently told me that I already met another one of my goals, which was to introduce my beer curious friends to something they might not have otherwise tried. I tend to post about what I'm drinking on Facebook and was told recently "Your daily beer posts are an inspiration," haha. That was pretty cool considering I'm still a newbie, I hope to keep showing new things to my friends and drinking them together this year.

Definitely going to brew more. I begged and pleaded for the equipment, and then brewed beer that came out flat and got discouraged. It even tastes ok! The only issue is that the carbonation is nil. I still have the ideas and the inspiration, and I can't let the mishap of my first brew put me off of ever brewing again. I'm thinking of doing an Imperial Irish Stout for St. Paddy's Day and calling it "The Ten Craic Commandments". I'd better start soon!!!

Also, I'm moving to Michigan in 2016, so there's going to be a lot of fantastic drinking going on. I'll be a happy boy when I have my choice of more than six Founders beers on a regular basis. I guess the resolution part there is land a job asap and get out there.

Organize the cellar with some kind of direction. Drink down stuff that's been sitting too long.
