I run the beer department at a bottle shop here in Dayton...I probably sample too many beers before/at work sometimes. But hey, the wine guys sample multiple bottles at a time. Why can't I? HA!

 

Only drinking the IPA's in my fridge, since they aren't getting any fresher, while the rest of the beers I like (stouts, tripels, quads) theoretically get better with age. Then telling myself that I'm getting sick of IPA's, only to restock on them next time I go out shopping since I drank most of them. Repeat cycle...

 

I spend too much money on beer. I pay too much attention to new releases and buy stuff that I don't need.
I am starting to accumulate beer in the cellar.

 

Drinking my first beer of the day at 12:30 AM. I always get some sort of headache the next day.

 

This must be pretty common, because I have a tendency to this as well. I pay a buttload of money for some great beers and end up just pounding em down after a night of drinking....such a shame!

 

The first one goes down quickly. Chalk it up to stress relief? I do watch the clock. It is 5 o'clock somewhere!? Drunkenness is not a good thing. Moderation is a good thing.

 

OMG we are twins. (hopefully you use lame text acronyms as well)

 

I also get stuck on one style, and end up with about 5 different 6ers of stout, and get burnt on them.

 

All of the answers above about buying when the beer fridge, the beer cellar is full, that's me. I've not bought any beer in four weeks. Been sick. Just started imbibing again in ernest today. Afraid to go to my favorite store! I know I'll buy more. Got to clean said storage areas first. Wish some of you were close. Lots to share. Drink well friends!!

 

This is the big one. My personal rule is to drink "low to high" over the course of an evening, in terms of increasing ABV. Problem is, after two or three beers, my sensory perception is compromised. What a waste...

 

Drink beer only in a poured glass. The right glass also.

 

1) Buying more beer than I could possibly consume.
2) Not having the time / desire / liver cells to drink every day

 

Denigrating people that don't like craft beer as much as I do!

 

Hey I see you're in louisiana, I'm in nola if you want to sell or trade some of your excess beer just let me know

 

I do not brew often enough due to lack of keg storage space. Anybody buy that?
