The one thing I miss about my bmc days. Mountains of those crushable and (quiet) to get rid of cans.

I go to the store and buy 4-6 assorted beers and by the end of the evening I've drank most of them.

Buying so much I have to prioritize what goes in the fridge and what has to stay out at room temp ahhhh! Hurry up winter and 55 degree house!

On the plus side you have the constraints to night drink them all at once...

I should probably explain also that I'm not a big release-day-wait-in-line-guy, but moreso, I often see that a place has something locally, and feel like I need to go out and grab it. I'm sure the craft industry LOVES facebook/twitter.

I saw this post a while back and thought- oh man, I would never do that, that's stupid!

And then last Friday I did exactly that. I felt the urge to share one more bottle with my friends, and I busted out a sweet little cork and cage number that I'd been saving for 6 months. It was delicious, but in hindsight I should have opened it when I was not sharing.

Oh god that reminds me of the time I poured my bf a beer and went to get myself one. When I turned around again he was drinking it with a straw because he was too busy playing a video game.

this. it's not THAT bad of a loss but i had a quarter glass of Ruination 2.0 left, and i went to lay in bed because i felt drowsy(drunk) and ended up nodding off slightly until i finally went downstairs, took my bba arrogant bastard out of the freezer and put it in the fridge and went to bed.that ended up on the menu for football the next day.

I feel like I have my own little packaging/shipping warehouse.

I'm in the middle of putting a box together. As such, I found myself in the garage picking through countless boxes, bubble wrap, tape, carts, rubber bands, etc. I mean seriously...one wall of my garage, next to the beer fridge, is a stack (not an organized one, mind you) of beer shipping supplies. It's not a bad problem to have; i'm hardly buying new packing material.

It is a bad habit though. I never throw anything away. The smallest, most awkward shape of bubble wrap is never thrown away. I'm convinced that I'll find the perfect use for every piece of scrap I cut or receive.

The GF hates it. I love it.

"Turbo" cooling shelf temp beers in the freezer. This is as much of a lack of patience as a bad habit.

The good side of this habit is that it is fun to open up the box.
At least some of the beer is always a suprise.

    -running out
-buying stores out of my favorite hard to find/seasonal beers so I both don't have room in the fridge/apartment and can't replenish my stash
-drinking the "this sounded good" but then tastes meh, to bad beer"
    -trying any beer from France

Most importantly, not counting the calories the carbs and calories to the 2100 cal + carb on workout days and 1800 no carb on non workout day diet

I drink all IPAs and DIPAs waaaay to fast. Like, I could down them. I find them that refreshing. Gets rough if they are 6%+ and drank en masse.
