Your beer ritual

Ditto, except my deck is much less interesting to photograph from, so I use my kitchen.

 

Do your kids not sleep on days you exercise?

 

Whether I get off at 2 or later at night like 9, I have the same routine. Come home, get comfortable, crack open a beer and proceed to drink 3-6 beers or around that until it is bedtime. Of course, chores, dinner, etc. are mixed into the ritual, too...

 

After I've finished my chores around the house, or grading a stack of papers (I'm a teacher), I reward myself with one (or two if it's hot outside).

 

Get a keg of Coors light. Stand on my head with the hose in my mouth. Drink till I start puking up foam. Pass out on my neighbors lawn. Wake up at dawn. Go inside and crack open a warm bud. Shart in my shorts. Drink more bud.

 

Come home change clothes pick out a brew and usually sign on to this site.

 

Take beer from fridge>open>pour>enjoy>repeat.

 

On work days I get home at 6:30pm. Get beer from fridge and pour in a glass. If it's nice out, I sit with my wife out side with her wine. We sit there rehashing our day until maybe 9:00. Between 2 and 4 beers. If dinner warrants it, another beer or maybe wine. Only dry reds though. On days off I may start around 11:00am depending on what I have planned. Man we are creatures of habit aren't we. Cheers all!

When I do drink, it is generally in my cave. I get off at 4:30-5 from the P.O., get home, shower, and select from my cave fridge (I typically have 4 different choices) in what order I want to drink 2, 3, or 4 dependent upon how crazy the customers were throughout the day. Sometimes I have friends over (who are HUGE beer nerds as myself), and sometimes solo, and I put on some tunes and read BA.

 

got a bud who is near my house after work on Mondays so we started doing a Monday night beer and wings. Crack open a beer or two and sit outside, then grab some quality wings at this local sports bar. Been doing it for a couple months, shame the weather is about to be so hot here in South Florida, been real nice sitting outside around sunset.

 

If the weather is nice I when I get home from work I like to pour a beer in a plastic cup and walk to the end of my street . It's about a 5 minute walk to a nice beach on the Chesapeake Bay . A great place to drink a beer and the scenery is always different . My usual walk is to Lynnhaven Pier and back .

 

1. Open up beer and pour.
2. Take a picture of both bottle and glass w/ beer
3. Smell then 2-3 sips.
4. Review on BA and Untappd.
5. Drink the rest of the beer slowly while watching movie/tv.

Lately I've done the same except now I'm trying to rate them on BA. But I'm being picky on those.

 

Most of the time its 11pm. Take out my beer, pick out glassware, pour, take a picture, enjoy. I usually put on some late night or watch a lecture that I want to passively review.

 

Usualluly weekends only for beer these days. Friday and/or Saturday night. Kids in bed around 8 and after they stop horsing around and get quiet, I'm relaxed enough to pop one open.

I have this antique pie chest that I inherited and also grew up with, that holds all of my beer, wine and whiskey glasses. So I open it up and pick one of about 6 beer glasses that I own. I used to own more but had to leave a bunch for the move to Texas from California.

Pour the beer. Drink it slowly (or at least I try to).

Repeat.

 

5PM, Friday and Saturday.

Take my left hand with wedding ring; grab chosen beer... then use it to pry open beer. Pour in glass; drink.

Repeat..."at will" for the next few hours.

Pretty simple, really.

 

One beer every night poured into my glass stein just as the late news comes on tv.

 

Small beers first, 1 or 2 usually. The "premier" beer next, I usually write a review here. I eat a snack, then onto my last beer and I go to bed.

 

Pick a beer up from the fridge, put it on my white desk. Bring my Sony mirrorless camera and take some pictures. Pour it to my favorite small size sniffter glass and take some more picture. After that its just drink and pour!
