Best: Lagunitas - Hard to beat a $5 bomber.
Worst: Ballast Point - I still can't justify $16+ for a 6 pack of Sculpin when there are so many other great options right next to it for $10-$12.

Best: Sierra Nevada. Six packs always at or under $10, and 24 oz bottles of Torpedo for $3.30.

Worst: Hoppin' Frog. Love the beer, but the bomber-only format is overpriced across the board. $10 for 22 oz of shandy is unjustified. The price point for their BA offerings is better, but still high. I live close to their tap room, and generally drink their beer only on draft, where its price is consistent with other bars.

The seller, distributor and brewery would have to work that amongst themselves "hey Bob, you know all that Mikeller beer we have priced at $12.99 a bottle, well we are not selling any at that price- is there room to lower it?" or "hey Bob, I can't believe we are selling all that Mikeller at $12.99 a bottle- it's flying out the door!! Maybe we can jack up the price a bit more."

MBC is actually priced pretty well in Southern Vermont. A 4 day old IPA for $5 to $7 is fair IMHO.

Agreed. Just checking what you meant, since many people seem to focus on only one culprit in complaining about high prices. Like the original complaint about Shelton. SE PA has excellent distribution of both domestic and imported beers and what very few Danish imports I see around here are pretty expensive, regardless of whether Shelton or someone else is the importer. Seems to me the big difference is that on sites like this lots of folks here the name Mikkellar and are more likekly to notice it...

Similarly a couple of years ago all Belgians, pretty much across the board, took a jump in price that could be traced back to relatively poor performance of the dollar compared to the Euro and it didn't seem to matter who imported them. e.g., a four pack of 330 ml Saison Dupont went almost "overnight" from about $18 to about $22. Singles of Rochefort went up over $1 per bottle.

Sculpin is worst value? I'm not mad about this but just curious what your reasoning is!

Worst: Rogue, followed by Avery Barrel aged series (love the beers but a 12oz bottle for just shy of $20 is really steep)

Purely from a "at the brewery" standpoint, I thought that Russian River was outstanding! A buddy and I each got a pint of Pliny, a bottle of Pliny, and a 19 flight of every beer they had on tap (including sours ect) for $35! Insane!

    Worst - Rogue

Very interesting to see the regional differences in pricing. Eclipse for over $30 bucks? I think it was going for about $22 in Oregon.

Best- Lagunitas was the first thing that came to mind. I also have to add Deschutes due to their IPA bombers. Chasin' Freshies, Fresh Squeezed and Hop Henge are great IPAs and I can usually find them in the $8-9 range for a bomber.

Worst- I agree with the above on the 50/50 Eclipse stouts. Great beers but the price point is really high compared to similar beers. I would add Cascade as well. One of my favorite breweries but some of their prices are just madness.

I don't know about @KMachHops but I feel Sculpin is a poor value because, despite being a wonderful IPA, it's priced nearly twice as much as comparable IPAs. If I walk into a liquor store to get a sixer, and I see Sculpin for almost $17, and two rows down is Fresh Squeezed* for $10, it's a no brainer for me.

*You could insert SEVERAL quality beers in this place, that was just the first to come to mind.
