I'll be bummed tomorrow or sometime this week when Hill Farmstead Juicy sells out, but I don't feel like making the ride.

No no...it was $8.99 a bottle, but there were several cases in the display. It's pretty sad that I specifically remember that moment.

Out of sheer desperation, and the rumor that King Henry wouldn't be distributed to downstate (read: not Chicagoland) IL and definitely wasn't coming to MO, I had my parents ask one place if they could get it. Their beer guy said, 'OH YEAH, tell your son he's taken care of'. Three days later, a case showed up. 'How many you want?' my mom asked. 12, 12 was the correct number. The number I TOLD her, however, since I'd never had the beer, was 3. Ugh.

All the $30-40 bottles of Fou'foune lamvinus and Lou pepes I could have bought as they sat on shelves years ago. This was before I thought a $30 bottle of beer could possibly be worth the price tag

A couple years ago, a keg of Pliny the Younger made its way to Eugene OR while I was living there. I was just getting into craft and I thought the $8 advance ticket was just silly. Kicking myself for that one.

I've gotten into the routine of drinking only on weekends - otherwise I'd be 350 lbs. in no time. Problem is when my local growler place gets some Hill Farmstead beer it's usually mid-week and is gone in no time. They aren't permitted to sell growlers so I miss it unless I break my routine [which makes my wife unhappy - and a happy wife means a happy life]. Hmmmm. Never mind. She'll get over it.
