    I've been bugging The Olde Mecklenburg Brewery about doing a Rauchbier, so I guess I'd say my dream variation would be for them to do a smoked version of one of their beers.

    I already told them they should do a smoked version of their Mecklenburger and dub it the Mecklenburner.

    Huzzah! Now let's flood the shelves with it.

    That does sound really good according to the reviews, kind of chocolately, but hopefully somebody out there makes more of a Smoked Imperial Schwartzbier like liquid black velvet. It would have one fan, at least.

    Till then I guess I'll have to make due with Left Hand Smoke Jumper.

    The base beer of King Henry, aged in regular BCS (or similar quality barrels), available in 4pks, available every year or two to the entire GI market.
