Zombie Dust isn't hard to get, but I agree that it is average at best. Never understood the insanity there.

Dark Lord 2013 aged one year was not very good. Fresh Dark Lord 2014 was awesome though. Cinnamon Roll'd Wake and Bake from Terrapin was a huge let down for me. After multiple Terrapin beers (most of which I didn't like) I just don't like the coffee they use in their beers. It just tastes cheap to me.

pretty sure Herman Melville kind of set the tone for the term. not like the beer geeks on here coined it and trademarked it. i see no issue with the way he used an already existing notion.

Zombie Dust on a regular basis or even once in a while is hard to get if your out of the distro. Keep in mind not all people trade.

This is going back a ways, but as I was just getting into beer, I saw Sam Adams Tripelbock in my local store. It was selling for like $12 for an 8oz bottle, at a time when I was hesitant to pay $12 for a craft 6-pack. Finally sprung for it one day. Opened it up, drank an ounce, and dumped the rest.

The first time I had KBS was 2012 and I thought the world revolved around it. Fast forward to 2013 and I tried it after the release. Now mind you, I after '12, I had many BA stouts and started to understand beer a bit better. The '13 was very disappointing and I couldn't believe that it was that bad. I tried another....same thing. I'm hoping that '14 will be better, but this is the only one I can think of that failed on my end.

Old Rasputin on Nitro tap. One of my favorites out of a bottle, but after all the hype I really wasn't impressed with it at all when I finally found it on nitro.

Lol! funny I purchased Triple Bock in like 1994. I brought the bottle home, popped the cork/top and took a swig. That beer is a legendary steaming pile of horse dung!
